a proposed time line, budget, and specific goals and objectives as well as the number of children and families to be assisted through the various components of the project.
This plan serves as a standard of measure for later evaluations.
Every World Vision national office has a team of auditors who evaluate sponsorship projects based on these goals and objectives at least once every two years and report their findings to the national director. Sponsorship projects also are subjected to international audits by regional auditors and individuals from the World Vision International Office.
World Vision examines its projects mid-term and at the end of the program, and external evaluators are sometimes called in to conduct these reviews.
