Without protection from the elements, thousands of needy children children are vulnerable to disease and infection. Some little ones – the poorest of the poor – have only tattered rags or even no clothes to wear. They are ashamed of the way they look and often taunted by their classmates. Lacking self-confidence they cannot achieve their God-given potential.
World Vision has received $34.8 million worth of new clothes and shoes from generous American clothing manufacturers. We must raise $2.8 million to ship and distribute these garments to needy children in 31 countries worldwide.
