Syarifa lost her husband and a 9-year old grandson in the tsunami, as well as her house. She now lives in one of World Vision’s Transitional Living Centers that house nearly 4000 people. It is close to where her village was and she’s grateful to WV for enabling her to live again with her friends and neighbors. |

M.M. Karanpaula lost a sixteen year-old daughter and a 3 year-old son in the tsunami. World Vision has helped him get back on his feet and he and his family will soon move into a brand new home in Sri Lanka. His home is just one of thousands planned for construction.
