2. Churches – Have members of your group go to the churches they’re apart of to collect signatures after a church, chapel, or community worship service. Have your team ask the pastor if your group is able to make an announcement or share your work in the fight against the global AIDS pandemic.
3. Downtown, highly trafficked corners, malls, and grocery stores – Advocate out in your community and have people in your city use their voice. This is a great way to collect large amounts of signatures for you goal.
4. Sporting Events, Concerts and Movies - Have your team collect signatures outside of sporting events, concerts, and movies. Get as many volunteers as you can, because once these events let out you have one shot to collect signatures.
5.Campus and Local Coffee Shops – Visit local coffee shops and collect signatures. This is a great way to get to know your community, share your passion, and advocate in the fight against the global AIDS pandemic.
6. Door-to Door – Spend a Saturday or Sunday mobilizing your team to go door-to-door in your community to have petitions signed. This is a great approach to get signatures and raise awareness about the global AIDS pandemic in your town.
7. Campus Activities – Everyday your campus is hosting dozens of activities through different groups and organizations. Partner with these groups and get signatures at these events.
8. Family and Friends – Send some petitions to your family and friends that our outside your college. Share your passion with them and have them work to collect signatures in their communities.
9. Take Petitions Home – Many of your team members grew up towns outside of your campus’ community. Have your team member take petitions to their home churches, malls, and parks.
10. Awareness Flyers – Create an awareness flyer that talks about the issues and what your campus is doing to share while collecting signatures to continue to educate your community.
