Total achievements to – date

  • 3 mobile health services operational (services provided to 962 people) in Muzaffargarh District, Punjab.
  • 7 static clinics, 2 mobile services, Diarrheal Treatment Centre (DTC) operational (services provided to over 15,000 people) in Lower Dir/KPK
  • 4 mobile clinic operational in Sindh (services provided to approximately 4,071 people)
  • Food and relief kits distributed to more than 52,961 people in KPK
  • Relief kits were distributed to more than 13,930 people in Muzaffargarh, Punjab
  • Food distribution to 75,390 people in Multan, Punjab
  • WFP Food distribution to 190,749 people with 2806.9 MT in Khaipur, Shikarpur and Sukkur in Sindh
  • 11,928 people in Khairpur and Sukkur/ Sindh
  • assisted with Shelter/relief kits.
  • 82 hygiene promotion sessions conducted with 5,232 people in Punjab and Sindh
  • Three Child Friendly Spaces operational in Khairpur, Sindh
  • assisting approximately 345 children
  • 8 CFS operational in 6 locations of Muzaffargarh benefitting over 1049 children

Health

Punjab
  • 3 mobile service operational (services provided to 962 people in three days) in Muzaffargarh
  • 3 Health & Hygiene sessions conducted and 402 community members attended.
  • World Vision continues to provide 10 trucks and drivers for EDO Health to ensure medical and relief supplies in Multan are able to be distributed to the flood affected districts

Sindh
  • 4 mobile clinics operational in Kahirpur, Sukkur and Ghotki (services provided to approximately 1,610 people)

KPK
  • 7 static clinics, 2 mobile services, Diarrheal Treatment Centre (DTC) operational (services provided to over 15,000 people)

Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH)

Punjab
  • Sludge sucker truck coming this week.
  • 35 WASH village committees formed in different villages of Muzaffargarh
  • 39 Health and Hygiene Sessions conducted in different areas. 1464 community members attended these sessions

Sindh
  • 30 Hygiene promotion sessions conducted for 4,830 people.
  • 10 WASH committees (90 members) are formed
  • 5 water tanks are installed for 125 households and 5 wheelbarrows are distributed in different villages of District Khairpur and

KPK
  • 3 male and 3 female hygiene promotion sessions were conducted in Charsadda and Lower Dir for 1,260 participants
  • Messages about personal hygiene and advocacy material about human trafficking included in all the sessions conducted so far.
  • 8 Water Tanks of 500 galloon capacity were installed in communal places in Nowshera
  • 7 water tank having 200 galloon water capacity were distributed in Nowshera
  • 3 water tank of 500 galloon capacity were distributed in Charsadda
  • 12 water tank of 200 gallon capacity were distributed in Nowshera
  • Water quality testing was conducted in Agara village, Shabbara and Geedar
  • 8400 Aqua Tabs were distributed in 400 households of Pushtoon Ghari

Shelter/Relief items

Punjab
  • Relief kits (kitchen sets, hygiene kits, mats & shelter kits) were distributed to more than 13,930 beneficiaries in Muzaffargarh

Sindh
  • Total 354 households received shelter/relief supplies in Kahirpur

KPK
  • Total 400 households received shelter/relief supplies in Nowshera

Food

Punjab
  • 75,390 beneficiaries received World Food Program food rations including rice/wheat flour, pulses, vegetable oil and biscuits

Sindh
  • Total 77,727 beneficiaries received 1,149.25 MT of food items in Sukkur, Kahirpur and Shikarpur.

Women and Children

Punjab
  • 8 Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) are operational in 6 locations of Muzaffargarh benefitting more than 1049 children

Sindh
  • 3 CFS are in 3 different camps of Khairpur, with 345 children registered.
