World Vision recognizes Kohler Company and Embassy Group Ltd. for their support of under-resourced communities

Las Vegas, NV, April 26th, 2011 - The Storehouse of World Vision hosts its 11th Anniversary Celebration of the Crystal Vision Award Luncheon during the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas today. The special event celebrates select industry leaders for their humanitarian efforts benefiting American families in need.

This year’s event will honor Kohler Company and Embassy Group Ltd., as well as name the Robert P. Atkins Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Special guest speakers include Tim McCann, President, Dupont Building Innovations, and Michael Werner, President and CEO for the Globe Union Group.

World Vision, the international aid organization, awards its annual Crystal Vision Award to Kohler Company and the Partner of the Year Award to Embassy Group Ltd in recognition of their outstanding commitment to World Vision’s mission of serving children and families affected by poverty. In addition, Barbara Higgens, Executive Director or Plumbing Manufacturer’s International, will receive the Robert P. Atkins Lifetime Achievement Award.

World Vision’s Storehouse network is comprised of eight warehouses across the U.S. that receives corporate donations of new, top-quality goods made available to local community partners for distribution. Goods that are distributed include building materials, school supplies, personal care items, and clothing to over 1.6 million people in low-income communities annually.
