Operation Diaper Drive is a partnership project between Weyerhaeuser and World Vision to collect and deliver disposable diapers to North American families in need. About one in three mothers struggle to provide their babies with diapers, which are not typically covered under social safety-net programs. Working together, both companies will help close this gap by inspiring employees and community members to donate diapers throughout the month of March. World Vision will then deliver the diapers to local areas with the greatest need using their existing distribution system. This important cause aligns well with Weyerhaeuser's Cellulose Fibers business, which uses a renewable resource to produce biodegradable fluff pulp that is used in a range of absorbent hygiene products.

National Diaper Drive: donate a diaper and help a baby International Business Times,17 March 2012
As a common American mom, struggling to meet her basic needs of life, obviously, grocery will win. This does not mean that diapers are not important. However, unable to afford the high cost of diapers and the large number of diapers needed daily (6-10), moms prefer to keep their babies in wet, dirty diapers for extended periods of time.
