WHAT:

This Saturday, World Vision brings together local churches, community members and volunteers to host a day of hands-on giving back. Guest author Katie Smith Milway will be reading to event attendees from her new book “Mimi’s Village,” which shows the complete transformation of an African village by basic health care interventions, such as those included in the kits. Two thousand Health Caregiver Kits will be assembled by volunteers at this event, and will include handwritten notes of encouragement for the healthcare volunteer recipients.
