Accountability is a serious matter at World Vision. We are entrusted by community leaders, parents and children to help them improve their health, education, social well-being and overall quality of life and to do so in a way that honors the dignity of every individual in the community. We are entrusted by our donors to serve as responsible stewards of the resources they give. We are accountable to our peers within the humanitarian community to meet the standards that we have collectively set for quality work. And most importantly, we believe that we are accountable to God to honor the work he has entrusted to us to serve developing communities in his name. | ![]() While repairs were being made to roads following the March 2010 earthquake in Chile, World Vision flew initial relief supplies in for survivors by helicopter. ©2010 Heidi Isaza, World Vision |
