Q: My Online Account doesn't show all my past contributions. What do I do?
A: Online donations may take 5-7 business days to post to your account. Donations sent to World Vision through the United States Postal Service may take up to 2 weeks to process. Q: Can I change my giving method or provide a new credit card number online?

A: If you want to edit an address or delete an address, then sign in to your address book using the email address / username and password currently associated with your account. To create a new address select the Create New Address button and select the Preferred Address check box. To update an existing address, select the edit button and update the address. Q: What is a "Preferred Address?"
A: Your preferred address is the mailing address where you will receive all correspondence which cannot be sent by e-mail.
Q: Why can't I delete my preferred address?
A: Your preferred address is the physical mailing address where you will receive all correspondence that cannot be sent by email. World Vision requires that a preferred address be specified at all times. If you want to delete a preferred address, you must first specify a new address as your preferred address prior to deleting your existing preferred address.
To delete your preferred address, sign in to your address book using the e-mail address/username and password currently associated with your account. To create a new address click the "Create New Address" button, then enter the new address and check the "Preferred Address" checkbox.

Q: How do I change my username?

Q: I have forgotten my username. Can you tell me what it is?
A: World Vision can help you locate your username/e-mail address, if you specify your last name and account number. Please click "Forgot Your Username" and we will help you look up your username/e-mail address. Q: I have forgotten my password. Can you reset it?
A: World Vision cannot tell you your current password, but we can assign you a new password and send your sign-in information to your e-mail address (username). Please click on "Forgot Your Password" and we will e-mail you your sign-in information. Q: How do I change my password?

Q: Is it safe to donate online with my credit card?
A: All response forms requesting confidential information (such as credit card numbers) on World Vision's Web site utilize the Internet security protocol known as "Secure Sockets Layer" or "SSL." This is a certification and encryption technology designed to make using your credit card as safe as possible on the Internet.
Independent agencies report that (statistically speaking) using a credit card on the Internet through SSL is far safer than submitting your credit card to a clerk in the grocery store, or over an open telephone line. In fact, they report that there are no recorded instances of someone "breaking" SSL encryption and using credit card information stored therein for fraudulent purposes.
