Currently, about 25,000 children are registered in the World Vision sponsorship programs throughout the West Bank and Gaza. Several times this number of children and other family members benefit from World Vision activities.

World Vision targets community clusters where basic services and infrastructure are lacking most.

Our recent development activities include:
  • Food security: providing and repairing infrastructure for water resources management; agriculture projects; water management:
  • Education: building classrooms, vocational training: Building play-grounds, child centres and kindergartens; care and education for special needs children;
  • Income generation: Job creation, vocational training, establishing home gardens;
  • Advocacy to raise awareness of the situation that impacts World Vision Jerusalem programmes, especially children;
  • Response to conflict: Psychosocial interventions intended to improve the wellbeing of children;
  • Emergency relief: Distribution of food parcels, blankets and medicine to displaced people and families in need.
