Growing number of Syrian families flee violence

After 20 months of conflict in Syria, about 1.2 million Syrians are displaced within the country, and another 362,000 have fled their homes for neighboring countries. More than 100,000 people have fled to Lebanon as a result of the Syrian conflict, the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) has reported. An estimated 60,000 children are affected. Read more ...
