Team World Vision is a growing program that recruits and equips people to run a marathon or half marathon while raising funds for World Vision's work in Africa. Team World Vision interns work with the Marketing Director and have hands on experience with things like: video production, graphic design, event planning, writing/editing, grassroots marketing, social media.
U.S. Programs is a department focusing on empowering youth, providing essential materials to local families, and responding to emergencies. The U.S. Programs department offers internships in areas such as communications, marketing, volunteer management, or field site programs.
Team World Vision is looking for interns who are intrigued by the idea of running a marathon or half marathon in order to raise money for kids in need. We look for interns who have skills in marketing and communications, and are excited to learn how to use them in a non-profit environment. We are a high-energy team passionate about our work, and look to engage high-capacity interns in projects that will result in more runners raising more money for kids.
Team World Vision interns are asked to commit to at least 20 hours per week, although 30 - 40 hours per week is preferred, if possible. Interns will also need to find their own housing and transportation to the Chicago office at 5001 W Harrison St.
