Q: Does World Vision have a structured summer internship program?
A: Our summer internship program in Federal Way and Washington D.C. are structured. They are geared to help interns gain a holistic view of World Vision at weekly intern gatherings. There are opportunities to meet with key people and hear about their work and experiences with World Vision.
Q: How many hours are required for an internship?
A: This depends on how many credit hours are needed and the intern’s schedule. Many interns need to work part-time in the summer. We work around the intern’s schedule. Most intern positions require at least two full days a week, or four half days. We do not limit the hours to part-time. Students may intern more than the required two days.
