Why intern at the Federal Way office?

The Federal Way office is the headquarters for World Vision U.S. and is our largest office in the country. You'll have the opportunity to interact in a fast-paced, corporate environment and get an inside perspective on how a large nonprofit is structured. Working alongside hundreds of staff who are experts in their field will broaden your understanding of humanitarian efforts. You'll get to see the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running a nonprofit, attend meetings, participate in all-staff chapel, and gain experience in your field of interest.

What types of internships are available?

We offer internships in a variety of departments, including accounting, auditing, communications, church relations, human resources, information technology, international programs, legal, marketing, media relations, U.S. programs, Web design, and many other opportunities.

What are managers looking for in an intern?

Managers in the Federal Way office are looking for students who are passionate about humanitarian work, have relevant experience or coursework, and are eager to use their talents to help children around the world. Specific skills may be required for some internships.

When are internships available?

We have internships available year-round: fall, spring, and summer. However, the largest intern class is in the summer, when we host 50-plus interns from across the country.

The deadlines to apply are:
  • Spring — January 30
  • Summer — April 30
