Why intern at the Los Angeles office?

The Los Angeles office serves one of the most diverse and populated metropolitan areas in the country. As part of our team, you will gain valuable skills working to provide compassionate service to local communities. You will also gain a greater understanding of how a large nonprofit operates, as well as insight into the various strategies and programs that World Vision undertakes to empower communities and help meet their needs.

What types of internships are available?

Internships in Los Angeles may be focused in the areas of communications, marketing, volunteer management, or field site programs.

What are managers looking for in an intern?

Managers are looking for students who are highly responsible, able to work well as a member of a team, and have a willingness to use their education to help create communities where children can thrive. Specific skills may be required for certain internships.

When are internships available?

Internships are available year-round (fall, spring, and summer) on an as-needed basis. Please apply as early as possible.

The deadlines to apply are:
  • Fall — September 15
  • Spring — January 15
  • Summer — May 15
