Paul Macek is the Senior Director of Food Security & Livelihoods at World Vision. Paul joined World Vision U.S. in August 2009 after serving for 14 years with Catholic Relief Services in various capacities including Country Representative (Benin and Zambia); Deputy Regional Director for Southern Africa; Regional Emergency Representative in Southern Africa; and Program Manager in Benin and S. Sudan in Africa.

Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in History and Political Science and M.A. in International Affairs with a focus on development studies and political economy.
