Armed conflicts have left hundreds of thousands of people dead, and countless more injured, displaced and traumatized. Women and children are particularly vulnerable to poverty, abuse and exploitation.

World Vision works in many conflict zones, advocating for peace, protecting children, and helping communities heal from war’s physical, emotional, mental and social impact.

Some regions in conflict that are of particular concern to World Vision include:
