Step 1 :: Caregiver Kits Getting Started

Pray about your event. Ask God to bless your endeavor and stir hearts to respond.

Get approval from your church or group leaders as needed. Share the Summary for church and group leaders and Caregiver kit content list with them.

Choose your assembly style:

• Large group assembly | World Vision will coordinate your bulk purchase of kit contents through our partnership with a health-care products provider (recommended for groups assembling 20 or more kits). Kit contents will be shipped directly to the location you indicate so that on your scheduled assembly day, your group can assemble the kits together.
• Individual/small group assembly | If you anticipate assembling 20 or more kits, World Vision will coordinate the bulk purchase and delivery of your kit contents to the location you desire. If you don’t wish to place a bulk order, participants may buy kit contents on their own and assemble the kits themselves using our shopping list.

Decide how many kits you will assemble. If you are placing a bulk order, you will be asked for an estimated number of kits when you register your event.

Agree on a budget with your leaders. The approximate cost per kit is $28, plus local sales tax. Determine with your leaders how to acquire the funds and/or begin fundraising using the materials provided on our Resources page.
