Order your Event Kit when you have:
  • Your church leader’s approval
  • A confirmed event date
  • Select the type of sponsorship you wish to promote (Child or HopeChild sponsorship)


Order early!
  • Make sure you order your Event Kit at least one month before your A Child is Waiting activities begin.
Your Event Kit will include:
  • Picture folders (photos and profiles of children waiting for sponsors)
  • Brochures about child sponsorship and World Vision that can help answer a potential sponsor’s questions
  • Postage-paid envelopes to return sign-up information and gifts from new sponsors
  • Easy, complete instructions on how to sign up new child sponsors
  • Presentation ideas
  • Bulletin inserts (if requested)
Launch your program
Host your event in May—A Child is Waiting month. Or choose the date that’s most convenient for your church’s schedule. Plan to keep your sponsorship table available for two to three weeks to allow more people the opportunity to sponsor.
