• FOR the thousands of people in India suffering from poverty, living in slums, and feeling hopeless.
• FOR the 2.4 million people in India living with HIV and AIDS.
• FOR the children who are suffering from the loss of parents, teachers, community members, and peers as a result of the AIDS pandemic.
• FOR the generosity and compassion of home-based caregivers, that they continue to see the good in what they do.
• THAT HIV- and AIDS-infected workers would not experience discrimination or stigmatization in the workplace.
