• FOR the millions of HIV- and AIDS-infected people suffering from malaria.
• THAT AIDS patients' antiretroviral treatment will not be interrupted due to the global economic crisis.
• FOR a decrease in stigma and discrimination against HIV-affected people, which hinders efforts toward HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support.
• THAT education and prevention efforts to reduce the incidence of malaria and HIV will continue.
