AIDS threatens a child's promise
Children are deeply affected by AIDS. In Africa alone, more than 13 million children have lost one or both parents to the disease. Millions more precious children are at risk of becoming orphans, and facing a future defined by poverty.

Help bring hope to orphans and at risk children
Promise Pack

You can help orphans and at-risk children by helping them stay in school. We are inviting churches, corporations, and schools to purchase and assemble Promise Packs for children in AIDS-affected communities.

Promise Packs are special backpacks filled with school supplies and basic personal hygiene items that help children stay healthy.

Your Promise Packs will let children know that someone cares for them. Best of all, Promise Packs open doors of opportunity for children to learn, grow, and realize their promise through education.

What Promise Packs do for you
By working together to assemble Promise Packs, your church, corporation, or group can:
  • Enjoy a hands-on opportunity to encourage and support orphans and at-risk children.
  • Involve families, co-workers, adults, youth, and children in a fun and meaningful service project.
  • Grow closer together as you work to change the lives of children.
  • Develop a greater awareness of global needs and service opportunities.

    • The minimum order is 50 packs and World Vision will ship the supplies directly to your location. Videos, a detailed leader's guide, and various event resources are provided to insure that you host a quality event. When your Promise Packs are assembled, World Vision will work with you to coordinate the shipping of your completed packs.
