What does Team World Vision raise money for?

World Vision is in nearly 100 countries working with communities to help provide things like clean water, nutritious food, education, medical care, and economic opportunity. Team World Vision athletes raise funds for World Vision projects like these, primarily in African countries. As more specific project information is available, it will be posted on each event's webpage.

Is there a fundraising minimum?

There is no fundraising minimum as long as you are registered for an event before registration closes. Sometimes Team World Vision can provide late entries after open registration for an event closes. In those cases, there is a fundraising minimum based on the event.

Can I do an event that is not listed on the website?

Yes! We encourage athletes to participate in national events because they are world-class events with large groups of Team World Vision athletes. But you can join Team World Vision for any event in any city.

Why do I have to pay for my shirt?

We ask that athletes cover the cost of their team shirt so that the maximum amount of money you fundraise can support communities in need and keep World Vision's overhead rate as low as possible.
