> Is World Vision a 501(c)3? Yes! All of the information you need for matching gift paperwork is on World Vision's corporate gift matching webpage.

> Can I count matching gifts toward my fundraising goal? Unfortunately, no. It's a lot of organizational details that make this a difficult process, but basically this is for two reasons. 1) Matching gifts are directed into a different department within World Vision and we don't have a way to easily track these donations back to you. 2) Matching gift funds support various projects around the world, so we can't accurately report back to you and your donors how much money our team has raised for our specific projects when we include these donations. World Vision wants to be above-board in how we report back to donors, so this helps us stay as honest and accurate as possible.

> So why should I get a matching gift then? You can be absolutely sure that your matching gift is still helping provide much-needed resources for children and communities around the world. And by asking your employer to match your gift, you are significantly increasing your impact, while helping raise awareness for communities in need.
