Fusing music and ministry, the World Vision Artists program is a partnership between World Vision and performing artists to encourage their audiences to become child sponsors in an effort to share God's love in a tangible way with the world's poorest children and families. KidREACH builds long-term partnerships that promote relationships and opportunities for children. It pairs schools with churches or community groups that match struggling students with dedicated, trained adults and older youth, who provide emotional nourishment as well as academic help. KidREACH trains tutoring site administrators and volunteers, and provides technical support and educational programming as well as books, educational games, and other materials. Partner churches provide the space, volunteers, nutritional snacks, and supplies such as paper, pencils, and crayons. The children and their mentors provide the chemistry and effort that fosters success. Visit our KidREACH program to learn more about volunteer opportunities at KidREACH.
Gifts-in-kind (GIK) are high-quality products donated by corporations. Volunteers work in a warehouse setting. They count, sort, and package GIK products for both domestic and international use to help children and families affected by poverty or disaster. The GIK distribution centers ship millions of dollars worth of products such as tools, toys, medical supplies, clothing, shoes, and educational material. Volunteers learn how World Vision addresses the causes of poverty as a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities. Volunteers may serve as individual, family, or group! Change the life of a child by volunteering today.
Thank you for visiting World Vision’s volunteer site. We hope to see you as a volunteer in one of our locations soon!
