World Vision welcomes your partnership in caring for the world’s poor, including those affected by situations requiring an emergency response. Right now, our teams are working to provide aid to vulnerable children and families who are clinging to survival in the wake of natural and man-made disasters. Together, we can walk alongside tens of thousands as they move from despair to wholeness.
Here are ways you can become involved in our work with children and families in need around the world:
Respond with compassion
Make a one-time gift to our Disaster Response Fund. Your donation will help World Vision deliver life-saving assistance, like food, clean water, shelter, and more to children and families affected by emergencies around the world.
Sponsor a child today. Your love and support for a child in need will provide life-giving essentials and help him or her be better equipped to cope with disasters.
Make your voice heard
Advocate for those affected by poverty and injustice. Stay informed so you can inform others. Track political decisions affecting the world’s poor, and contact your lawmakers as needed to urge their support for critical legislation.
Involve your youth
Encourage your school or youth group to participate in the World Vision-sponsored 30 Hour Famine. Young people will learn about global poverty and get a first-hand experience with hunger, all while raising funds to help feed and care for hungry children around the world.
