The Mayor of Tacoma, Bill Baarmsa, is challenging the citizens of Greater Pierce County to help children devastated by AIDS in Lesotho, Africa.
Mayor Baarsma is calling on business, city and church leaders to respond. He is calling on individuals within Tacoma to respond. He is calling you to respond.

1. Sponsor a child from Lesotho: Personally, you can sponsor a child from Lesotho, or share sponsorship of children with your business, community or church.

2. Help orphans in Lesotho: By partnering with the community of Sekameng, your donation can develop needed resources like clean water, education, agricultural development, healthcare and economic development.

3. Assemble Caregiver Kits: Help the city of Tacoma and the greater Pierce County reach their goal of building 10,000 caregiver kits that will provide home-based care for those living with HIV AIDS in Sekamang, Lesotho. Sekameng is a small country in Africa that has been devasted by HIV AIDS.
