LEARN: Test your knowledge about AIDS
6,000 children are orphaned by AIDS every day HIV/AIDS is devastating communities around the world — and children are suffering the most. Join us on World AIDS Day to make a difference for the 6,000 children who are orphaned every day.
A generation of children needs our help. Now is the time to take action!
How World Vision is acting on AIDS
As a Christian organization, World Vision is motivated by faith in Jesus. We serve the poor — especially children — as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.
We have years of experience in combating the global AIDS pandemic, which has devastated an entire generation of children. With the compassionate support of individuals, churches, and organizations, we are caring for orphans and children made vulnerable by the disease, preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS with education based on biblical principles, and advocating for effective programs that transform communities and save lives.
World AIDS Day is an annual, global event started by the United Nations in 1988. |
