| Please Pray … |
- FOR HopeChildren to acquire knowledge to avoid high-risk behavior that may lead to HIV infection. HopeChildren are children in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and 13 African countries, all of which are heavily impacted by AIDS.
- THAT volunteer home visitors would continue to gain knowledge, skills and strength to address the physical and emotional needs of orphans, vulnerable children and chronically ill people.
- THAT community-based organizations, churches and local leaders would advocate and care for HopeChildren, especially in the absence of parental figures.
- FOR children affected by conflict, specifically in Uganda as the government and rebels, known as the Lord’s Resistance Army, resume peace talks.
- FOR children who have been abducted and are vulnerable to sexual abuse, violence and infection of HIV and other diseases.
