  • The United Nations Joint Program on HIV/AIDS
    UNAIDS' site includes statistics updated annually, as well as reports on United Nations efforts in AIDS prevention and treatment and issues related to AIDS such as debt relief and health care.
  • Johns Hopkins AIDS Service
    This site, owned by Johns Hopkins University's Division of Infectious Diseases and AIDS Service, includes a variety of resources including an experts Q&A and medical publications, as well as epidemiology and prevention information.
  • AIDS at 20, in The New York Times (June 5, 2001)
    This is an excellent collection of articles for the 20th anniversary of our recognition of AIDS. The Times site also has a link to archived AIDS-related articles dating back to 1981.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
    The Center for Disease Control’s Divisions of HIV/AIDS prevention lists well-organized, dated statistical reports by category including both domestic and international information. Statistics are current through December 2002.
