Willow Creek Association Hosts World Vision AIDS Experience"You are about to step into the world of Olivia. Let yourself go into her world now. The land of Africa: where life can be abundantly full but also heartbreakingly difficult..." World Vision was invited to share this AIDS Experience Exhibit at the WCA Leadership Summit in August. Willow Creek hosted a smaller, theatre style version of the experience (pictured), based on the original 2000 sq. ft. exhibit, to accomodate a greater number of guests. "World Vision couldn't be more excited to again join in partnership with the Willow Creek Association to both educate the church on the critical needs created by the AIDS pandemic and offer appropriate ways to reach out to those in need." --Steve Haas, Vice President of Church Relations, World Vision Many visitors filled out response cards to learn more about how their church can get involved in fighting the pandemic. This significant relationship of the Willow Creek Association and World Vision speaks to leaders of the importance of the issues surrounding the virus, and gives them the resources they need to do the kinds of compassionate activities that truly make a difference in the fight against AIDS. Rich Stearns also joined Senior Pastor Bill Hybels in announcing a new award highlighting one church's efforts in the AIDS battle. World Vision is delighted to work alongside the Willow Creek Association in making this award possible; realizing the impact of informed and compassionate congregations in confronting the greatest human emergency of our time.
