Mentors making a difference
The Vision Youth Institute
Provides grassroots youth workers in the Bronx with professional development opportunities that are affordable, relevant, and life-changing
Prepares, equips, and sustains these youth leaders to strengthen children and families in the communities they serve
Fosters caring relationships that help children and teens develop the life skills, character, and resilience needed to overcome poverty and give back to their community
Meets the needs of youth workers and existing community organizations (helping to prevent frustration and burn-out)
Providing access to Storehouse resources
Community organizations that partner with the Vision Youth Institute have access to the Storehouse and all of its resources—including office supplies, building materials, and household staples—to meet their program’s needs.
Here's what your donation can do:
- $40 – Provides an elective course for a youth worker.
- $400 - Provides a year's access to the Storehouse for a youth worker and their entire organization.
- $600- Provides a Core Curriculum course for 15 youth workers..
- $2,500 – Provides a complete scholarship to the Vision Youth Institute for one youth worker.
