Transforming lives and communities
Transforming Lives and Communities in Southwestern Georgia
in southwestern Georgia

World Vision initially came to Albany, Georgia in 1994 to help flood victims, and stayed on to help address needs created by poverty throughout southwest Georgia. More than 16,000 people are helped each year through programs that focus on training leaders, promoting racial reconciliation, tutoring children, and delivering goods to fill basic needs. You can help. Make a donation today to World Vision's work in southwestern Georgia.

Neighbors helping neighbors

Albany residents are uniting to build their community. Today World Vision partners with local churches and community organizations to serve tens of thousands of people each year in Albany. Together we train community leaders, distribute donated essential goods, promote racial reconciliation, and work with high-risk children and youth to reach their God-given potential.
