Today, our True Spirit of Christmas Trip team writes and sends photos from Morawewa, Sri Lanka, where they’re visiting the family of DD Karunaratne (father), Irangani (mother), and the family’s best friend — Chooti the cow, a gift from our Gift Catalog. Meet Chooti, and learn how she has changed this family’s life.
“When we got Chooti, our journey began,” DD Karunaratne told Kirsten, True Spirit of Christmas Trip host.
Irangani, DD’s wife, added, “Because of World Vision, our children have books, roads are developed, and the poorest of the poor are taken care of. World Vision truly cares about the poor.”
