World Vision’s work in the United States
World Vision works in U.S. urban and rural areas, providing poverty relief services that give hope to those in need and resources to those who are leading the way in the fight against poverty here at home.
Some of our interventions here in the United States include:
> Providing food assistance to vulnerable families
> Serving at-risk youth through programs that empower young people
> Offering free tutoring from trained volunteers to struggling students
> Expanding the capacity of child-focused organizations already serving in communities
> Providing low-income families with school supplies, personal hygiene items, and household products
How you can help
Pray for children and families in need in the United States. Pray that parents would gain access to the resources they need to escape poverty and that children living in poverty would have what they need to grow up healthy and thrive.
