Concert-goers can change lives

World Vision is partnering with “The Story” with the hope that as God shapes listeners’ own stories, audiences will be inspired to change the story of a child in need.

“The Story of Jesus Christ offers life in all its fullness to all who hear it,” says Jenny Lockwald, World Vision’s executive director for events and broadcast. “This one-of-a-kind, multimedia project reminds us that there are thousands of children around the world who long for this fullness of life.”

Concert-goers who attend The Story Tour will have the opportunity to sponsor a child in need, extending their impact over several years of a child’s life and helping to transform that child’s entire community.

Lockwald explains, “At World Vision, we’re privileged to get to share with Christians how they can make reaching out to our world’s most vulnerable children part of their own story.”

Serving the world’s most vulnerable children

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of “The Story” music CD will benefit World Vision’s ministry among the world’s most vulnerable children.

The funds will go toward programs to provide clean water and sanitation, malaria prevention, protection from child labor or sexual exploitation, and spiritual nurture.
