Debs Harris and Mesfin Teklu, two World Vision staff members, met with a young mother in the Kalma camp who had just lost her 3-month-old boy to an illness. The lack of clean water, proper food, and sanitation puts children particularly at risk for diarrhea, malaria, malnutrition, and respiratory tract infections.
