 | | Eleven-year-old Gift (center), a sponsored child in Kenya, lost his parents at the age of 3. Since then he has lived with his aunt, a 43-year-old mother of seven. The trauma Gift experienced plays out in his behavior at school; according to his teacher, he gets irritated very easily and often lashes out at other students.
