The Cambodian Microfinance Institute only received WILFund capital in March of 2005, and as such is not due to provide an impact report until September.

However, a group of WILFund donors visited loan clients in Cambodia in April to see how life was starting to change for the women benefitting from the loans. The trip was quite an experience for them... at times they were in the heart of Cambodia's thriving sex tourism district, seeing first hand what is often the only choice a woman has to feed her family in the absence of a hand-up from generous WILFund donors.

One of the visitors captured the stories of some of the loan recipients they met along the way. We'd like to share those with you.
