For your protection, World Vision uses the highest site security encryption technology currently available on the Internet -- 128-bit key encryption is used to transmit your private information (such as name, address and credit card information that you enter on secure response forms) securely across the Internet to our servers in Federal Way, Washington.

The downside of this upgrade is the fact that some of the older versions of browsers--specifically, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x and earlier--do not recognize 128-bit key encryption. If you are using an older browser, you may receive an error message when trying to access one of the secure areas of our site (such as child sponsorship, feedback forms, or crisis relief donation forms).

If this happens to you, you have two options. The best is to upgrade your browser to the latest version. Click here or on the icon below to upgrade to Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0+, or here to upgrade to Netscape Navigator 4.7.

If for some reason you are unable or unwilling to upgrade, you can always contact us by email, postal mail, or telephone to sponsor a child. Click here to send us an email, or here for other contact options.

If you have any other questions about security on this website, please click here for more information or click here to send our webmaster an email. Thank you!
