"It was painful to lose Muleya as our sponsored child," says Anita Gray, "but we also knew that another girl or boy somewhere in the world desperately needed our help."

Anita and her husband, Denis, received a notice in the mail from World Vision letting them know that their 6-year-old sponsored girl from Zambia was no longer available for sponsorship.

"We learned that Muleya and her family had moved from the sponsorship community," Anita says. "It was hard to accept that we could no longer help her financially or correspond with her, but we also knew this was all in God's hands. Even though we are no longer able to sponsor Muleya, we can still pray for her and her family, and we do."

Anita and Denis decided to use the financial support they had set aside for Muleya to sponsor another child right away.

The Grays are now blessing Antara, an 8-year old girl from Bangladesh, through their continued sponsorship. "We have a good relationship with Antara,” says Anita. "We’ve received a few letters and photos of her with her Dad. She tells us she wants to continue her studies so that she can become a teacher. We are excited that we can help her reach her dream!"
