The Hope Initiative
The Hope Initiative is an unprecedented campaign to address the needs of children, families and communities that have been devastated by the global HIV/AIDS pandemic.
There is an urgent need to mobilize the Christian community and the general public around the global HIV/AIDS crisis. World Vision is asking Americans to join together to care for the millions of orphans, widows and other vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS and to support the charitable work of World Vision at the local level to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Through the Hope Initiative, World Vision is helping to turn the tide against HIV/AIDS around the world.
Orphans and vulnerable children often lack enough food to eat, have no access to proper medical care, cannot attend school, and frequently face abuse and neglect. In many cases, they must care for sick and dying parents, and provide for younger siblings.
You can help! World Vision is asking people like you to respond to the needs of the millions of orphans and other vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS and support World Vision in our work to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Through the Hope Initiative, you can help World Vision turn the tide again HIV/AIDS around the world.
