Webmaster Banner Program
Help spread the word!
We have created the graphical banner ads and buttons on this page for webmasters to place on your site to help promote World Vision's ministry to the poor. Simply copy the banner graphic (right mouseclick on the graphic and save it on your own computer) and place it on your own server on your webpage. Then link the banner to the URL specified below. For instructions on how to insert .GIF files or .SWF (Shockwave Flash) files into your code, see below.

CODING INSTRUCTIONS
For .GIF files:
These instructions are the same. It matters not whether the .GIF file is an animation or a still graphic:
STEP ONE: Save the .GIF file above (right mouseclick on the graphic and use "save picture as" to save it on your hard disk or server--this works equally well for an animation or still graphic) and upload it to an appropriate place on your web server.
STEP TWO: Insert the following lines of code at the point in the HTML file of the document where you want the banner in question to appear, at the point you want it to appear:

- Replace "link goes here" with the complete link text found under the "Link to" heading in the above table.
- Replace "bannername.gif" with the path/folder and name of the .GIF file as it can be found on your server.
- Replace WIDTH and HEIGHT values with the appropriate pixel dimensions found under the "Specifications" heading in the above table. (Width is listed first, height second, e.g. 468x60.)
- Replace "ALT tag copy here." with the text following "ALT=" under the "Specifications" heading in the above table.
- If you want a border around your graphic you can change the value in the BORDER="0" portion of the code.
STEP THREE: Save your revised code and upload the revised HTML file to your server. That's it!
FOR SHOCKWAVE FLASH (.SWF) FILES
STEP ONE: Save the .SWF file above (right mouseclick on the icon representing the .swf file under the "Specifications" heading in the above table, and use "save target as" to save it on your hard disk or server) and upload it to an appropriate place on your web server.
STEP TWO: Insert the following lines of code at the point in the HTML file of the document where you want the banner in question to appear, at the point you want it to appear:
