Thank you for your interest in helping even more children as a Child Ambassador. You may have come to this Web site because you've sensed that there's more to God's plan for your life — that He wants to use you in new ways.
If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place. The lives of hundreds — even thousands — of children could be changed forever because of you.
As a World Vision Child Ambassador, you'll receive all the materials you need to have a ministry that reaches the world, right from the place God has planted you.
To qualify as a Child Ambassador volunteer, you'll need to be:
- Passionate about children in need, and currently sponsoring a child.
- Committed to Christ and attending a local church.
- Willing to share about child sponsorship with others, including your church.
- Able to spend approximately 4 to 7 hours a month sharing with others and making presentations.
You'll play a critical role in helping children in desperate need become sponsored by caring people in your community — people within your circle of influence.
You can have an impact through your church, your neighborhood, your community and your life!
As a Child Ambassador, there's no limit to what you can do with your life and your influence to help caring people sponsor children in desperate need. When you have been accepted as a Child Ambassador, you may be eligible to visit a World Vision project. To qualify, you will need to connect at least 100 children with (paid) sponsors through your individual efforts. When you find sponsors for 100 children you may qualify for a trip to visit a project in Latin America. *

* The value of a trip to a World Vision project is taxable income to you. World Vision will add 35% to trip cost for taxes. The taxable income reported to you, the IRS and any other applicable taxing authority will be the value of the trip and the 35% additional that will be paid to you.
