As unemployment rises and safety networks fray, World Vision and its American community partners are working tirelessly to help ensure children and families in the U.S. receive the vital basics they need to get back on their feet.
Your donation will help deliver top-quality donated products to struggling American families and single mothers — like Mary. In order to escape her abusive husband, Mary was forced to take refuge at a homeless shelter with her daughters and special-needs son.
Thankfully, this shelter receives medical supplies, hygiene products, and more from World Vision. "I feel special," said Mary when she received the World Vision products. "I feel appreciated." And despite the homelessness and abuse she's faced, Mary still reaches out to others by volunteering at a nearby soup kitchen. "I don't want to be sitting here doing nothing," she says.
