 Haiti Relief and Long-Term Support
As many as 3 million Haitians were impacted by the massive earthquake that struck near the capital of Port-au-Prince on January 12, 2010. More than 200,000 were killed and millions of survivors lost their homes and loved ones. World Vision began an immediate response to the disaster, and thanks to our faithful supporters we remain committed to our work to rebuild lives and communities in Haiti. Your help is still needed today.
Please donate to provide essential support — including food, health care, and shelter — to children and families throughout Haiti. Thanks to grant funds, your gift will multiply 5 times to provide help and hope.
You’ll help World Vision continue our response to the devastating earthquake, and also meet new needs. With the deadly cholera outbreak in Haiti, World Vision is providing clean water and helping improve hygiene. We are also pre-positioning medicines, masks, gloves, and other essentials to protect and care for the most vulnerable.
World Vision has worked in Haiti for 30 years and has more than 800 staff on the ground. Please pray for children and their families who have been affected by this disaster. Also pray for World Vision staff as they provide ongoing support to the people of Haiti in the months and years ahead. Pray that God will bring hope out of despair as He builds a new Haiti from the rubble.
