Ken Casey is the special representative to World Vision’s international president for the organization’s HIV/AIDS Hope Initiative. In this role since March 2001, Casey oversees the strategic implementation of the initiative, which strives to reduce the global impact of HIV/AIDS through prevention, care and advocacy efforts.

Casey works with World Vision’s regional vice presidents, regional HIV/AIDS directors and national directors worldwide, as well as with other humanitarian organizations to ensure that World Vision pursues the most effective HIV/AIDS prevention and care practices available. He also works closely with marketing and program leadership to provide AIDS programs with the resources they need to succeed.

Casey has been with World Vision since 1993, serving as senior vice president for ministry and resource development and as senior vice president for strategy, policy and planning. Before joining World Vision, he served for nine years as vice president for business affairs at Biola University in La Mirada, California.

He has also served on the boards of the Evangelical Christian Credit Union, International Urban Associates and the Christian Management Association, and on the standards committee of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

Casey earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern California and has done graduate work at Stanford University Business Management Institute and Biola University.
