Hello,
My name is Megan Van Der Pool, and I am 13-years-old. I saw a show on
ABC's 20/20 about what was happening in Rwanda, so I decided that I
wanted to try and help by donating my allowance and writing this letter to let
you know I am praying for everyone.
I hope the money I sent will help some children who have lost their
families and belongings. I saw that some of the children were my age, and
I admire them for how they are trying to cope with the loss of their parents
and their whole way of life.
When I go to church, I will think about you, pray for you, and light a
candle in your honor.
