I wanted to send my deepest concern and sadness over what is happening in Rwanda. I pray that those orphaned children will find peace and a home to nurture them. I strongly feel something needs to be done by the media to keep this story in the spotlight in order to develop enough support for those families who are in so much pain and grief at this time.
It is my wish and prayer that the family of boys (along with all the other families who are suffering) I saw on the 20/20 news magazine be given opportunities to be parented during these childhood years. Is there an adoption program in place?
I pray for the anger and violence to stop. I pray for safety and security for each of those beautiful children and their families. I pray for greater love and acceptance in this world.
